The website of a luxury ski-in ski-out hotel in Courchevel, built with the Mixit7 agency: design, a lead capture landing page, front-end integration and WordPress development.
The place
A hotel at the foot of the slopes.
Bârma is a hotel at the foot of the slopes in Courchevel, in the Three Valleys ski area. The Mixit7 agency trusted me with the whole site: design and development.
It had to make people want to come, with big photos of the place, and collect stay requests before regular bookings opened.
With a place like that, the simplest move was to let the photos speak and keep the type discreet around them.
Rooms
12 room categories to compare.
Twelve categories of rooms and suites is a lot to compare, especially on a phone. You filter by what matters before booking: room type, and balcony or terrace.
The cards say enough for a first shortlist.
Booking
Book from any page.
The booking button stays in the header on every page, with the phone number and email next to it.
On mobile, these actions sit together in a fixed bar at the bottom of the screen, within thumb’s reach.
Development
A WordPress site the hotel can edit.
I built a custom theme and extended Elementor’s blocks, so the hotel team can edit its own content while the layout stays intact.
Photos are heavy by nature: they’re served as AVIF, and scripts only load when needed.
I worked with Guillaume on mockups and a website for a very demanding client in the luxury sector. Very responsive, he fully understands what’s at stake. It’s as if he were part of the team. We can’t wait to work with him on other projects.
